Total resistance in a parallel resistor circuit, of R1 and R2 is
- RT = 1/R1 + 1/R2.
- 1/RT = (R1 * R2) / (R1 + R2).
- 1/RT = 1/R1 + 1/R2.
pB1B2 asked · 21 Jan 2017
i think the answer here is wrong! the true answer is RT = (R1 x R2) / (R1 + R2)

potentiometer varies resistance, your answer is voltage
JD2016: A potentiometer is a type of variable resistance and as you say it can take an input voltage and vary the output from zero to the full value of the input.
A 50 microFarad capacitor is fed with a current of 25 milliAmpere. How long will it take to charge it to 100Volts?
vilkas90 asked · 25 Nov 2016
How to find it?
PART66Online: Work out the resistance in the circuit first: R=V/I=100/0.025=4000 ohms Then work out the time constant: TC=R*C=4000*0.00005=0.2 Time to charge = 5RC = 5 * 0.2 = 1
